The ancient Inns of Japan, along the Tokido Road, gave weary travelers a fresh, crisp cotton Yukata–a lounging robe—so that they might shed their dusty travel clothes and bathe without the need of unpacking unwieldy trunks. Each Inn had Yukata in its own distinctive pattern. Travelers knew and prized the unique and artful designs. True to this ancient tradition, we created our own Yukata fabric printed in a pattern of the Golden Door "mon" (logo) and other special symbols. This Yukata has been our own tradition since 1975.
